Final-year Applied Computer Science student in Ghent, specialising in mainframe. I build applications and like running the systems underneath them.

How it started

It started in a lab.

A bachelor in biomedical laboratory technology: pipettes, well plates and a lot of precise work.

What hooked me

The machines behind the data.

Research databases and the computers running them turned out to be the part I liked most. So I switched to IT.

What I do now

Building real software.

Since 2024 I'm a junior developer at Fintrax, working on Python/Django and Angular apps for accountants.

Where I'm going

Now: mainframe.

Final year at HOGENT in the Mainframe Expert track, looking for a work-based learning and internship place.
